The Micro Vent snare is a 14"x 6.5" steel shell which has a centre bead for strength & is perforated with thousands of small holes. The effect of the holes is to make the shell lighter than usual. There are 20 single-ended bullet lugs

The Mechanism is the S9 Worldmax Strainer & is nice & simple. The effect of the holes in the shell is to dry the sound, increase the attack and reduce the sustain. This is what you can achieve with the WORLDMAX Micro Vent snare drum
